Privacy Policy
The short version
Quota collects nothing about you. There is no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no account system on my side.
1. Data the app handles
- OAuth tokens. When you sign in with your AI provider account, the resulting tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device. They are transmitted to exactly one destination: that provider's own API, over HTTPS.
- Usage figures. The percentages and reset times shown in the widget are fetched from your provider and held in memory. They are not logged or transmitted anywhere else.
2. Data I receive
None from the app. If you email me, I receive your email. If you buy a license, the payment provider acting as merchant of record processes the transaction and shares with me the information needed to fulfil the order, such as your email address and license details. The provider and a link to its privacy policy are identified at checkout.
3. Updates
The app checks a static file on my server to discover new versions (standard Sparkle appcast). This request contains no personal data and is not logged in a way that identifies you.
4. Your rights
Since I hold no data about your app usage, there is nothing to export or delete on my side. License-related data can be requested or erased by emailing hello@quotawidget.com.
